Ven. Kamburupitiye Munindawansa
Ven. Kamburupitiye Munindawansa was ordained into the order of Theravada Buddhist Monk in Sri Lanka Ramanna(chapter) Maha Nikaya in 1987. In 1995, Ven. Munindawansa received higher ordination and from 1999 to 2006, Ven. Munindawansa served as a teacher and later promoted to Principal at Sri Dharmagupta Pirivena (college for monks) in Sri Lanka. Ven. Munindawansa earned Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Pali and Sinhala in 1999 from University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka, and a Masters Degree in 2003 from Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies at University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Ven. Munindawansa specialized in Psychotherapy in Buddhism, Social Dimension, Women in Buddhism, Buddhist Aesthetic Concepts and Pali Language.
